This Minneapolis Waldorf School will become a "zero waste school" as a model for others. Families of the 140 students will reduce their garbage by 50%. Students will investigate disposal amounts and volume at school and at home and develop a student-led waste elimination campaign. Outreach to other schools will occur through a traveling sculpture plus local and national publications.
