Students in ten total classrooms in five St. Paul schools will participate in learning about different waste reduction topics. Using a special workbook created for the project, students will survey their families' current waste practices plan action steps to make changes at home, implement a service-learning project, and make a presentation on waste issues to a community group. Students from all the schools will gather for a celebration at the end of the projects.
