120 elementary school students at three St. Paul schools will be educated as part of a year-long waste reduction
focus in their classrooms. The students will plan and complete an appropriate service-learning activity that
has a waste or toxicity reduction impact. All students will also share their project and waste reduction ideas
with family members and groups such as senior citizens, other schools, etc. At the culmination of the year, the
students from the three schools will gather for an Earth Day information exchange.
