Over 1,000 Somali residents in the Bottineau Commons and Bottineau lofts in North Minneapolis will participate in
workshops to become more aware of waste and toxicity reduction. 150 residents will become site leaders for their
apartment building, will educate people about waste issues, and will monitor waste loads and waste reduction
activities of residents.
