575 residents live at this mobile home park in Chaska. Large amounts of garbage and improper disposal of household
hazardous waste are serious problems. This project will engage youth at the park as "green ambassadors," providing
a positive youth leadership activity. The youth will reach out to 250 families with waste education, including lessons
on proper disposal of used motor oil. Several community-wide celebrations will take place during the year to positively
reinforce the waste education themes.
