420 elementary school students will learn about food waste reduction by charting food waste produced in the school
and at home and learning the value of composting in the school gardens. Monthly folders and family nights will
educate students and parents about various waste issues. Students will create educational displays for the
local visitors' center, businesses, and city hall.
