This organization serves people with developmental disabilities and their families, in part through Arc's Value Village thrift stores. Over 200 of Arc's volunteers and staff will be trained to become "messengers" for waste reduction and recycling to Value Village customers. At least 100 customers will attend an in-store quarterly workshop on less-toxic household products, reusing during the holidays, reusing wool in felting projects, and/or composting food waste. Residents will complete over 1,500 junk mail postcards at a display at Chaska River City days. 200 people with disabilities will learn about waste reduction and become Green Guardians.
