On the Move...for Minnesota Families has a mobile teaching center that travels to low-income communities. They will train 15 ambassadors to create a social marketing campaign and educate 200 new immigrant families about creating healthier homes through re-use, non-toxic cleaning, and junk mail reduction with a 50% reduction in improper disposal. Three hundred families will make non-toxic cleaners or fill out junk mail reduction cards. Six after-school sites will engage 100 youth in activities focusing on recycling, re-use, and composting.
